Commercial Lease Administrator in Property Management

Our client, a real estate/property management firm, seeks a Commercial Lease Administrator to oversee this busy company’s files and transactions.

This is currently considered a temporary/contract assignment but has the potential to turn into FT, permanent direct hire. Begins ASAP.

About the Role (duties may include):

  • Support the leasing and management teams
  • Track new and expiring leases, both commercial and retail
  • Provide regular and frequent status reports to all parties
  • Interact with internal staff, 3rd party vendors, real estate brokers, customers, building representatives, employees etc
  • Ensure leases are fully executed
  • Ensure terms are accurately documented on official forms and records
  • Prepare written correspondence to tenants and clients
  • Prepare lease documentation
  • Proofread and final/approve all leasing related documents
  • Create a comprehensive filing system for lease records
  • Organize and maintain lease filing system
  • Maintain retail tenant contact database
  • Assist the accounting team as needed
  • Use Yardi as needed
  • Generate/provide commission agreements
  • Prepare payments and associated documents
  • Code and process commercial lease invoices for accounts payable
  • Additional duties and special projects, as assigned

About the Candidate:

  • BA+ degree or equivalent work experience (MUST)
  • 4+ years’ experience/knowledge: real estate, leasing, property management, create and maintain record keeping systems and procedures, legal contracts, procedures and documentation process (MUST)
  • Intermediate computer / software skills: MS Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe CC/CS (Acrobat, Illustrator) (MUST)
  • Experience using Yardi (PLUS)
