We seek experienced Digital Marketing professionals for a fantastic opportunity with our Pasadena area client, a fast paced national Internet Marketing firm that has generated over $100M in sales.

The position, the Display Marketing Manager, oversees paid search and display campaigns from concept to launch to tracking and analysis. The successful candidate will set up new campaigns, optimize and report results, test and analyze new marketing products and technology (such as native and video ads) using Google AdWords, Bing, Display & Search advertising. The ideal candidate is technically-minded and has a passion for paid search, media buying and emerging marketing tech tools while offering over 5 years of experience with large-scale monthly budgets.

About this Role:

  • Develop marketing strategies
  • Plan and execute high yield search campaigns (SEM)
  • Spot trends and assign creative projects to design team and copywriter
  • Manage the day-to-day SEM activities (campaign planning, implementation, budget, performance, optimization of paid campaigns)
  • Determine desired CPA based on daily analysis and ROI goals
  • Provide reports on KPI and suggest improvements
  • Develop short and long-term PPC / Display / Video strategies, roadmaps
  • Execute daily actions to increase revenue, site traffic and conversions
  • Analyze new trends to increase CTR
  • Plan and launch new display campaign assets with design team
  • Plan and launch A/B testing opportunities
  • Test and analyze new traffic sources
  • Plan and deliver paid search strategies against ROI
  • Develop paid search strategies and analysis (day/week parting, media mix, paid search customer valuations, etc)
  • Use Marketo and other 3rd party tech to execute plans
  • Work with design team to create new creatives, copy and landing pages to increase ROI
  • Create and execute marketing plans and product rollouts
  • Stay on top of market trends and competitors

About the Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MUST)
  • 5+ years’ experience SEO, display media buying, digital marketing (MUST)
  • 5+ years’ experience managing large (six figure monthly budgets) CPA (cost per action) driven accounts (MUST)
  • 2+ years’ experience creating and optimizing display/video advertising (MUST)
  • Experience with Google Display, Google Search, Bing, Social Ads (Facebook, Instagram) (MUST)
  • Experience with marketing strategy development and SEM campaigns (MUST)
  • Experience with Google DBM or similar (MUST)
  • Google Adwords certified (PLUS)
  • Advanced computer skills (MUST)
  • Personality and skills: strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic, able to meet deadlines, strong verbal and written communication, able to prioritize multiple projects and multitask, high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
