Group Sales Manager for Golf Resort - Hospitality Industry

We are currently interviewing sales managers for a group management opportunity with our client, a first class hotel that features a sprawling golf course and has been the recipient of multiple industry awards. The Group Sales Manager identifies potential clients and develops new accounts locally and in the northwestern region, in addition to assigned accounts.

  • Target and develop business with potential customers
  • Maximize relationships with local clients
  • Develop leads
  • Maintain client satisfaction incorporating available resources, such as front desk staff
  • Identify and cross-sell rooms, meeting space, events and hotel features
  • Activities: cold calls, telemarketing, site visits, trade shows, networking events, prospecting
  • Attend local chamber and rotary events
  • Participate in revenue meetings
  • Exceed sales goals

About the Candidates:

  • 2+ years’ in hospitality industry (MUST)
  • Proven sales management ability (MUST)
  • Applicable hotel/conference/resort experience
  • Intermediate + computing skills (MUST)
  • Software skills such as Delphi and other hotel management programs (PLUS)
  • Personality, Characteristics and Skills: advanced written and oral communication, sales expert, professional work presentation, excellent customer service, organized, team player, business development
