We are interviewing experienced professionals with a fantastic opportunity at our client’s West LA office. Our client develops and manages high end office and entertainment properties along the west coast of California and up through the Pacific Northwest. Focused on long term investments, they take great care with design-forward workspaces and tenant retention through organic growth.

The Manager of Production Services is responsible for staff management, stage maintenance, overseeing studio production services, vendor and client relationships, billing, asset tracking and rentals, logistics, facility repairs and maintenance.

About the Position:

  • Manage stage schedules, staff and operations
  • Oversee studio’s operational procedures
  • Manage order, delivery and inventory control of lighting and grip equipment
  • Manage all production services
  • Enforce local fire codes, safety rules and regulations
  • Conduct regular property inspections
  • Provide first class customer service to clients
  • Manage daily maintenance requests
  • Follow up requests promptly
  • Give feedback to studio management on issues
  • Oversee timely resolution of production issues
  • Manage and track equipment rentals
  • Negotiate rates for purchases and rentals
  • Prepare and track billing
  • Track completion of studio stage and equipment repairs
  • Order equipment
  • Maintain stage reports
  • Fulfill special project, audit and ad-hoc requests
  • Miscellaneous duties
  • Implement and streamline office procedures

About The Candidate:

  • BA degree (MUST)
  • 10+ years’ experience operations and studio production (MUST)
  • 10+ years’ experience managing and training staff in entertainment industry (MUST)
  • Real estate knowledge (PLUS)
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office (MUST)
  • Personality: motivated, self-starter, organized, diligent, detail orientated, analytical, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), team player, works well with groups, ethical, discrete, able to work under pressure, sound judgment, excellent decision-making abilities, polished demeanor, time management
