Job Description

We are in immediate need of an Accounting/Inventory Control Associate for a post-production company in Valencia. The focus of the role is on accounting, however there are some inventory responsibilities as well.

The perfect candidate will have accounting and QuickBooks experience. The emphasis of the position is on the accounting side of things, and they are willing to train on the inventory responsibilities. The individual in this role will need to be comfortable with A/R, A/P, inputting financial data into QuickBooks, etc. They will also need to be comfortable learning the inventory aspects of the position, primarily doing a visual inspection and inventory on equipment going out and confirm that all of the equipment is accounted for and undamaged when coming back in-house.

The inventory aspect also involves maintaining equipment from a visual standpoint and maintaining inventory levels thru a computerized inventory system called R2. There will be some generating of reports through the inventory system and tracking inventory in order to know where the equipment is in the field at any given moment. This is mainly a desk job but there is some lifting (nothing over 50 lbs).

Job Requirements

About the candidate:
1+ years’ experience in inventory control (MUST)
QuickBooks (PLUS)
R2 (PLUS)
Ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions (PLUS)
Personality and Strengths: positive attitude, team player, punctual, attention to detail, strong math, analytical, problem-solver, able to learn new tasks and software efficiently and quickly, great written and verbal communicator, organized
