Job Description
Organization: Our client is an independent, college preparatory day school consisting of two campuses located in Los Angeles, California with approximately 1,600 students enrolled in grades seven through twelve.
Position: This is a full-time, direct-hire, on-site Maintenance position offering $22-$25/hour depending on experience plus a stellar benefits package (details below); along with the paid overtime, your annual income could be approximately $70k+. This person will be part of a crew handling and maintaining the plant operations function of the school through plumbing, simple electrical, and general handyman-type projects. This role will require a lot of flexibility; having good hand skills is important, but equally important is the willingness to do whatever is required, whether that is setting up a room for a meeting, moving boxes, building a stage, and tearing it down an hour later, hosing down the common areas, doing minor repairs, etc.
Job Requirements
Ideal Candidate: Has wide-ranging abilities including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, etc., and is available for significant overtime.
Schedule: Monday through Friday: typically, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or 6:30 am to 3:30 pm with slight variations. Please note that paid overtime will be required beyond the regular workday, including evenings and weekends. All techs must be available for overtime that may reach 40-50 hours per month.
