Job Description

We are seeking experienced Cross-trained Medical Assistants for Medical Group in Center in Laguna Niguel, CA.

The Medical Assistant offers support to doctors, management, medical and non-medical staff and is a front-facing patient position. This role coordinates multiple medical professionals, manages the appointment calendar, processes sensitive medical documentation and acts as a public face for visitors.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM occasional weekends

Greet visitors
Rooming patients
Taking patient history Check vitals
Verifying insurances for prescriptions
Scribe for provider
Check-in/out patients
Use EMR software
Data entry
Maintain organized paper and electronic files
Collect co-pays

Job Requirements

About the Candidate:
High School Diploma (MUST) Medical Assistant certificate (MUST)
3+ years’ experience working in medical offices (MUST)
Extensive knowledge on medical terminology (MUST)
Intermediate computer/software skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (MUST)
Personality and Characteristics: warm, friendly and welcoming, attention to detail, upbeat and positive, "can-do" attitude, strong organizational skills, project management and problem-solving skills, multi-tasker, interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication, ability to prioritize, able to meet deadlines, able to work in fast-paced environment, solid customer service skills
