Job Description

A Los Angeles based, leading supplier of superior nutritional supplements is looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Shipping and Receiving Clerk on a full time, regular basis.  

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for handing aspects of shipping, receiving and maintaining accurate records. They must have excellent communication skill and able to perform communication via email, phone calls and other communication methods.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in an inventory role. Once probationary period is over, the ideal candidate will need to know how to drive a 26” foot dry van, a forklift and have a Class C driver’s license. They will also be reliable and can be available immediately!

About the candidate:

High School diploma (MUST) Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree (PLUS)

2+ years’ experience in inventory work (MUST)

Ability to lift up to 50lbs, on average 30lbs (MUST)

Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (MUST)

Personality and Strengths: positive attitude, team player, punctual, attention to detail, strong math, analytical, problem-solver, able to learn new tasks and software efficiently and quickly, great written and verbal communicator, organized

About the role:

  • Prepare shipments
  • Monitor active inventory stock levels
  • Ensure smooth order fulfillment process
  • Perform verification of incoming products
  • Replenish inventory from the reserve locations
  • Verify accuracy of paperwork, products and quantities
  • Manage inventory or other materials in the distribution center
  • Organize documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required by Inventory Lead or Manager
